Carol Lynn Ryneer, 77, of Creston, died peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at Doylestown Health Care Center after a battle A.L.S.
Carol was born Feb. 14, 1940 in Wadsworth to the late Kenneth J. and Charlotte (Thomas) Hilton and was a 1958 graduate of Wadsworth High School.  She married William “Bill” Ryneer on June 10, 1961 and he survives.  Carol had first worked at B.F. Goodrich and later as a Pre-School Teacher at Isham School in Wadsworth and at Reimer Road Christian School.  In 2005 she retired from Buehler where she worked in the Deli.  She had made her home in Creston since 1978 was a member of Canaan Free Will Baptist Church where she did arts and crafts.  Carol enjoyed making homemade greeting cards and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband, Bill; sons, Todd Ryneer and his wife Susan of Rittman, Mark Ryneer of Strongsville and Joe Ryneer of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, CJ Wright, Madison Ryneer, Tylar Ryneer and Kaitlyn Ryneer; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rodney and his wife Billie Hilton of Wadsworth and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Gladson officiating.  Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston and one hour prior to services at the church.  Tributes may be shared at  Memorial may be made to Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 167, Creston, OH 44217 or to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685.
