Ah Wilma! Carl was the first to teach us to give to missions, even at $ 5 a month - which was a lot for us young married couple back in the early 1970's. And then he surprised us when he said he was going to get married - to his sweetheart from 40 years earlier. Wow. God has blessed you both in so many ways. It has been an honor for us to be a part of that journey. We, too, will miss Carl much. But we are thrilled with the eternal impact he has had in our lives. And truly that must bring joy to our great Savior. Love you much - Jeremy & Thuvia

My Dear Lady Wilma, I am so much pleased and joyful to the Lord for giving me the incite with such urgency to visit both you and your dear beloved Rev. Carl Abbott last Thursday.
It was truly a precious time to see how he enjoy the songs and even sang all the words with Jan and I even thou we could not hear him but wash the words formed by his lips. I know how much you both loved the Lord, and loved and cared for each other. Therefore, I can only imagine how much you are going to miss him. But with trusting in Lord He will see you through. My humblest condolences to you, and pray that the good Lord will continue to comfort you in Jesus name. I will be in attendance of two of the services, I am looking forward to seeing you. keep the Faith and be strong in the Lord. With Love Linda and Tareema and family.
