Brenda Bollinger, born Jan. 30, 1959 departed her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wedneday, Sept. 6, 2017.
Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Tim Bollinger, her parents, Charley & Hester Casteele, her brother, Keith Casteele and her nephew, Matt McComas.
Brenda loved the Lord Jesus Christ with her whole heart and fully trusted in him. She was a very loving, compassionate, kind hearted, thoughtful and hard working person. Her passion was taking care of her family and she did it very well. She graciously put others before herself. Brenda accepted her fate when her cancer diagnosis was given to her in May of 2016 with the attitude this was in God’s timing and his plan. She never spoke negatively about her situation any time during her long and very painful journey. Brenda attended Canaan Free Will Baptist Church and most recently worked at Goodwill Industries, previously working at Buehler’s and Cracker Barrel.
Brenda leaves behind a family who loved and admired her dearly. Her husband, Tim Bollinger, sons Todd Bollinger, Dave McCrork and Brian (Cari) McCrork; her grandchildren Donna Bollinger, Trinity Bollinger, Jack Bollinger, Kaydence Bollinger, Gabriel Bollinger and Liam Tennant. She also leaves to mourn 1 brother and 6 sisters, Michael Hale, Sharon (Ron) Wallace, Bev (Paul) Fraley, Barb Riding, Beth (Jim) McComas, Denise (Scott) Daniels, Venita (Brian) Wolford as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.
Brenda’s Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9th at 6:00 p.m. at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, 12723 Cleveland Rd., Creston with Rev. Jim McComas officiating. Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
Murray Funeral Home in Creston is taking care of the arrangements.

To Brenda's Family
I will always remember the times, both good and bad, that Brenda and I shared together at work. Her passing is a true blow to those who knew her and counted her as a friend.
I know how much her family meant to her and if it's possible, I feel certain she is still watching over all of you.
