Obituary:

WOOSTER -- Bonnie May Smith, 78, of Wooster, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.

She was born May 8, 1933, near Seville, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Alberta (Chaney) Hall, and was a 1951 graduate of Wadsworth High School. She married Allen Poole Smith on Feb. 1, 1958 and he survives.

She had made her home in Wooster since 1958 and was a member of the Wooster Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker to her family and was generous to many others with her sewing, cooking and helping.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Allen; a daughter, Melissa Pneuman and a son, Timothy A. Smith, both of Wooster; grandchildren, Shane and Sara Green; six sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

A sister, Evelyn; and brothers, Jack and Leo, died previously.

Memorial services will be Sunday, June 12 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 3233 Akron Road, Wooster, with Wes Busby officiating.
